DAY 1 : PARO TO THIMPU

Pick up from Paro Airport and transfer to Thimpu. Thimpu is the capital of Bhutan. Thimphu is situated at a height of over 7600 feet on a hillside in a fertile valley on the banks of the Thimphu Chhu River. Thimphu is perhaps the smallest capital in the world. The town of Thimphu is nothing like what a capital city is imagined to be. On arrival Thimpu check-in to a hotel. Night halt : Thimpu

DAY 2 : THIMPU LOCAL SIGHT-SEEING.
After breakfast, Thimphu valley sightseeing for full day which includes: Memorial Chorten (Stupa), Bhutan Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, School of Fine Arts, Institute of Traditional Medicine, Tashicho-dzong (the seat of the Royal Government), Traditional Handmade Paper Factory and Handicrafts Emporium. Night halt : Thimphu.

DAY 3 : THIMPU TO PARO

After breakfast, driver to Paro and check into a hotel. After lunch, visit 8th century Kichu Monastery. Visit Ta-Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong and Paros local market. Evening is free for personal activities. Night halt : Paro

DAY 4 : DROP AT PARO AIRPORT
After breakfast, drop at Paro Airport.

DAY 3 : After breakfast drive to Punakha via Dochu La pass, which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges. On arrival, check into a hotel. After lunch, visit to Punakha Dzong (previously the winter capital of Bhutan). Night halt : Punakha.

DAY 4 : After breakfast drive to Paro. Enroute visits Semtokha Dzong (oldest dzong in Bhutan). After lunch, free for personal activities. Night halt : Paro

DAY 5 :
After breakfast, visit 8th century Kichu Monastery. Visit Ta-Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong and local market of Paro. Evening is free for personal activities. Night Halt : Paro

DAY 6 :
After breakfast, drop at Paro Airport.


Name : Kolkata - Bhutan - Madarihat

Duration : 8N - 9D

Day 01 : Start journey from Kolkata to NJP by train. Over night journey.

Day 02 : On arrival, transfer to Phuntsholing. Phuntsholing is the southern terminus of a major highway from Thimphu and functions as the gateway to the well-populated Lesser Himalayan valleys. On arrival at Phuntsholing, Check-in to hotel. Evening is free for personal activities. Night halt : Phuntsholing 

Day 03 : After fresh-up & breakfast, Check-out from hotel then transfer to Thimpu. Thimpu is the capital of Bhutan and perhaps the smallest capital in the world. On arrival at Thimpu, check- into a hotel. Night halt : Thimpu

Day 07 : After fresh-up & breakfast check-out from hotel then  drive to Madarihat. Madarihat is a small village located in the Alipurduar subdivision of Jalpaiguri. This is one of the main tourist spot in North Bengal surrounded by tea gardens, forests, hills and small rivers and also having a great diversity in the population. On arrival Madarihat Check-inn to hotel.evening free for personal activites. Night Halt : Madarihat.

Day 08 : Early morning, starts jungle safari by car & back to hotel. After fresh-up & breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to NJP station for return journey to Kolkata by train. Over night journey.

Day 09 : Drop at Kolkata.
